It's time to get our Celebration on and welcome

2013!!!!

I can't even believe that this is my last entry for Sawyer's 365 (366 blog because it was a leap year).

It's so amazing to see how much a baby changes and grows in just 12 short months.

It's so easy to forget the little things during our busy lives, and this blog sparks memories that I would have otherwise forgotten.  It's the little things in life that are often the most important.

Thank you to all who followed this past year.

Watching T.V.

 I found Sawyer sitting in the chair watching cartoons with the kids.  He took the bottom cushion off and was sitting in the chair looking like a big boy.  I'm not sure what's up with that face, he does it when he watches t.v.  Maybe he needs glasses??

Christmas Day!

Sawyer was so cute on Christmas.  He really enjoyed tearing open presents and playing with his new loot!

It's fun watching him play with Jaylee and Marshall now and him and his cousin Morgan play really well together too (most of the time)!!

As well as two 1 year olds can play together.....

It was such a wonderful day spent with our family and friends!

Christmas Eve....

Something very special happened today on Christmas Eve....

IT SNOWED!

Sawyer kept watching the snow fall out the window.

Sawyer took a seat on the step stool and watched us get all of the food and snacks ready for the party.

Sawyer and Morgan were so cute tonight.  We put on their Santa hats, and they kept them on for a few minutes.  Then they even had a little smooch!!

After we had our big feast it was time to open a few presents.

We got the kids all dressed up to go see Santa, but Sawyer wanted nothing to do with him!!

Brothers...

I like to feed myself!

Sawyer loves apple sauce, but lately he will refuse to eat it unless he can feed himself with a spoon!

Something smells fishy around here.....

Sawyer has been making this face lately, it's hilarious.

He is still feeling better, but now he has a rash on his face, I'm guessing it's the tail end of the virus that he had.  If it doesn't clear up to the Dr's we will go, again....

He's back!!!

You can tell that Sawyer feels better today.  He is eating, his fever is gone and boy has he been demanding today!  He is usually very patient, but today when he wanted something he would just scream!!  I think he got a little spoiled from when he was sick.  So we had a little battle of the minds.  He would scream and I would say no, and then he would cry and cry and cry.  The little stinker!!!

Starting to feel better....

He seems like he feels better today.  He still has a fever, but he's eating a little bit better then he was yesterday.  His little cheeks are so red.  I think it's a combination of a cold and teething.

Sawyer's sick....

Poor little guy has an awful cold.  He has a fever, runny nose and he just feels lousy.

He vomited a few times.  He won't really eat, but he is drinking well.

I found him fast asleep on the carpet again.  Hopefully he will kick it fairly quickly...

A day with Daddy and Mommy....

Today Sawyer is 14 months old!  Today was a big day because we have another appointment at Children's Hospital to follow up on his episodes.  They have recently come back, and this time we got it on video.  The appointment went well and we have to follow up with another neurologist on the 18th.

He is on target developmentally, so we aren't too terribly worried.

Passed out!

One second he was playing with my phone, then it got REALLY quiet.

I peeked into the living room, and I found him passed out cold.

He's been slightly feverish on and off today, so I'm not sure if it's teething or if he is getting sick.

Watching the Christmas Parade...

Jaylee was dancing in a Christmas parade today, so Sawyer and Daddy got to walk the parade and watch a little bit of it while supporting his sister.

Decorating the Christmas Tree....

Sawyer loved helping us decorate the Christmas tree.  He was so cute, and only tried to eat the ornaments a couple of times.  Not too bad.

It's getting cold outside, so I pulled out Marshall's old baby coat for Sawyer.  It's a little big, but he will grow into it.

Helping Mommy cook dinner...

Sawyer kept tugging at my legs tonight while I was trying to cook dinner.  I couldn't find anything to occupy him.  So I went old school and gave him an empty pot and a wooden spoon and VIOLA.....  he was happy.  It was like magic!

Calling Grammy

Sawyer loves to play with the phone.  When I talk to my Mom he likes to hold the other phone on speaker and babble and laugh to her.  Although sometimes he hangs it up!
