Just another morning...

Where is my baby?  Seriously....

It just amazes me how they change and grow so fast.

With the first baby I was in such a hurry for her to make the next milestone.

By the third baby I cling onto every moment, and try to hang onto every last second of him being a baby.  Before I know it he will be walking around here like the other two.

As much as I love watching them grow, it breaks my heart.

Russ and I found this cute outfit at Cracker Barrel.  I thought that these overalls would be a perfect outfit for when we take him to the pumpkin patch for the first time!!

Mommy and Daddy are going away for the night...

Russ and I got tickets to the 2012 Farm Aid concert in Hershey P.A.

It's always hard to leave the kiddos, but it makes it easier when they are so happy to see their babysitter Kayleigh show up.  As much as I love all three of my beautiful kids, Mommy and Daddy time is crucial for my sanity!!

Halloween is coming...

Smiley Boy...

Sawyer was in such a good mood today!  He was just all smiles and giggles.  Maybe this means that his teeth are feeling better and maybe he will finally start sleeping again???  Let's hope so!

It's time for child locks.

Well we were trying to go as long as we could without child locks on the cabinets.

He really hasn't even tried opening them at all yet, until today.

He was laughing and smiling as he kept opening and shutting the cabinet.

Never wake a sleeping baby

Sawyer was on a sleep schedule.....

that lasted a good 2 weeks, until he started cutting teeth again.

So now we are back at square one.

So when I found him passed out in his walker, that's where he took his nap!  

I will take what I can get.

Who is that baby in the mirror??

I caught Sawyer playing in my mirror.  He was watching the reflection of his hand moving in the mirror.  It was so cute because he kept looking behind the mirror, you could see the wheels moving in his little head as he was trying to figure it all out.

I think that his new teeth are starting to feel a little better.

He's not as cranky today and he's eating and playing better on his own.

Sawyer and I had lots of errands to do today and we were out and about ALL day long.  We stopped and got a sandwich and ate it in the grass together before we picked Marshall up at school.

More TEETH

Last night was so rough.  Sawyer was up screaming for most of the night.  Nothing would calm him down.  So this morning I looked in his mouth and he cut 2 more top teeth!!  The one is all of the way through, but the other one is not all of the way through.  The poor little dude is such a cranky pants.

Monkey Wrestling...

He's got the monkey pinned

and he's trying to tap him out!!

But then the monkey takes over the fight and flips Sawyer over!

Oh no, now he has Sawyer pinned!!

But Sawyer breaks free from the Monkey's pin

And Sawyer WINS!!

Sawyer rolled around on the floor with that stuffed monkey for a while.  It was so cute.

He was laughing while he was wrestling it!

He's learning to occupy himself a little better now that Jaylee and Marshall are both in school!

Happy 11 months to Sawyer

11 Months old ALREADY!

It doesn't seem possible.

He has been doing so well.  He's saying a few words, and trying to stand up already.

His ticks have been getting fewer and more far between.

I always take a picture of him in this chair on his birthday, but this time it was a little more difficult!

He kept trying to escape!

This is the last month of official "babyhood"  so I am going to try to treasure every single baby moment while it still lasts.  I can feel his baby-ness slipping away from me.... and it's so awesome watching him grow and change.  But I am going to miss that sweet baby smell, and that sweet baby innocence, and all of the other things that come with babies, well not the sleepless nights, the poopy diapers and the teething.  Oh and the spitting up, and the ankle biting, and the crying for no apparent reason.  Those things I can do without!!

Home Alone with Mommy...

Today was Marshall's first day at school, and Jaylee started school over a week ago........ sooooo, that leaves Sawyer and I home alone.  It was so weird only having one child to take care of today!

It was nice to have the one on one time with him, and he liked not having to share Mommy's attention!

A Day of Fun!

Sawyer and Morgan had another fun day of playing today!

They followed each other around the house all day long.  

They were so cute.

I got out the wooden spoons and measuring cups to keep them happy while I was cooking dinner.

Sawyer pushed his high chair all the way across the dining room today!  I think it's time to get him a push along toy!!

I had this exact toy for both Jaylee and Marshall.  I'm sure that I can dig up plenty of baby pictures of them playing on this toy.  Sawyer and Morgan play so well together.  They are so cute crawling around on the floor after each other.  I look forward to watching these two grow up together.

Crying it out...

I tried letting Sawyer cry it out months ago, and it just would go on too long.  He would get so upset that he would cough and gag.  But lately we tried it again, and now he only fusses for maybe 5 minutes and then he lays down and goes to sleep.  He's still been taking 2 naps a day and only getting up once or twice in the night.  It's a MIRACLE!!!
